Ingredients

8 oz. dried fettuccine
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. butter
1 cup heavy cream
½ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. black pepper
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (2 oz.)

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  2. In a 3-qt. saucepan cook garlic in hot butter over medium-high
    heat 1 minute. Add cream, salt, and pepper. Bring to boiling;
    reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered, 3 minutes or until beginning to
    thicken. Remove from heat; stir in Parmesan cheese. Add pasta;
    toss to coat. If desired, top with additional Parmesan cheese.
